12:45 PM – Lunch at The Lock Keeper’s Cottage, Toome

Savor a relaxing lunch of soup, sandwiches, tea, and coffee at The Lock Keeper’s Cottage, perfectly nestled for a peaceful midday break.

2:15 PM – Antrim Castle Gardens

Explore the Antrim Castle Gardens, steeped in history as part of the estate that once surrounded Antrim Castle, a pivotal seat for the Clotworthy and later the Massereene families. These gardens have been lovingly restored and are renowned for their historical plant collections and scenic pathways that echo the grandeur of their aristocratic heritage.

4:30 PM – 7:30PM – Crosskey’s Inn

End your day at Crosskey’s Inn, Ireland’s oldest thatched pub, dating back to 1654. Owner Vincent Hurl will share fascinating stories of its past, complemented by the warmth of traditional turf fires.
